Straight no chaser!!!!!! and the rest of life :)

So there's this website called pandora. Here, you can pretty much pick out specific artists and listen to music that's somewhat like that artist. So last night I decided to make a station for Jason Mraz. Amazing? Yeah I think so. Anyways, one song that came up was I'm yours which is originally by Jason Mraz and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It was by a band that I had never heard about until last night. Well I decided to look into them some more, and all i can say is FABULOUS. They have to be my favorite band now. I truly have never loved the Over the Rainbow song until now. Anyways, school is going good. I'm almost done. So, I've never had a 4.0 GPA. My Mom gave me a huge motivation. She said that if I get a 4.0 this next term, she will give me $100. That's right, 100 smackaroos. I've been doing pretty good so far. Midterm is on Tuesday and I only have ONE A-. Bummer! Luckily I have half a term to get it up. Life is pretty sweet. I hope that I can call that $100 mine. That would be great. Plus i'm going to get a phone. Yeah i've been wanting one for quite sometime now. Now it's actually happening. I don't understand why i don't have one all ready. I'm a busy and responsible teenager. That one's for you mom! I'd be more responsible if i had all ready started filling out college applications, but that's not happening. I see why I don't have a phone, but trust me i'm responsible. Well, all of my words have left me. One last thing to look forward to: 36 days to Christmas Eve. Heck yes. Who's counting? My family is.

Yeah I had a birthday!

On July 26, 17 years ago, I was born. That was a long time ago, and I feel really old, but come to think about it, I don't feel any older than I was before 1:49 pm yesterday. Yesterday was a pretty good day for the most part. My aunt died this past week, so my mom was pretty grumpy and felt that none of my family should come for cake (cheesecake and no my mom was not the bad guy). After she said that I pretty much went into my room and bawled. I felt that my cousins had ruined my birthday! I was also determined that we were not going out to dinner to celebrate. Eventually my mom made me happy and we ended up at Joy Luck. Dinner was great. Especially because I got my own plate when normally I have to share! After I finished eating, I had to go to the bathroom (TMI, yeah I know), but when I got back, I found a piece of CHEESECAKE! If you haven't figured out yet, I LOVE CHEESECAKE WITH A PASSION! It was absolutely delicious and yes I shared. My cousin Sarah and my Nana Neilson had called to see how my day was. Well in the attitude I was in, I did not want to call back, but they were thinking about me so I did. Earlier in the day, I was texting one of my bestest friends Sam and I asked her what she was doing. She wasn't doing anything, so we went to the mall! I told her I had found my new shopping partner. We got matching rings. I also discovered my LOVE for SHOPPING! Pretty cool, huh. My other bestest friend Jamie even called and said Happy Birthday. After I got home from dinner, it was time to call my family and have them down for cake. I called my Grandpa Troop and asked him if him and my Grandma wanted to come down and he told me that they couldn't because they had the boys (my cousins who are living with them until we figure something out. Hopefully it's soon because I don't want to be a part of this whole situation anymore) and he said that they couldn't make it down. After I got off the phone, I was heartbroken. I said and I quote "It's good to see that some grandkids matter more than others". I couldn't cancel because I had all ready called my Grandma and Grandpa Neilson and my Aunt Caroline. I proceeded with the event and got a phone call. Luckily my Grandma Troop was able to make it down and have some cake, but I was still sad about the whole thing. Luckily my parents and my sisters were able to make it a good day. Plus I get to go shopping on Friday. I'm so excited. Maybe my mom will spend more on me than she intended to. After reading this, I don't think she'll fall for that. Oh and did I mention that for lunch we went to McDonald's. It's not much, but for my family that is a BIG thing! Haha I'm just kidding. I'm so thankful for a family that cares about me so much and is willing to do anything for me. Ok, well not anything, but pretty much everything. So I know that I should have put this earlier, but I don't know where to fit it. On facebook it tells people who has birthdays coming up right? Well most people write on the birthday person's wall and no one was writing on mine. Well no one except my mom! So I finally had to go on and tell people that it was my birthday and than people started writing. Councilman Knight who is over youth council wrote on my wall and I didn't understand what he wrote he wrote the following: hbdty hbdty hbddr hbdty! Luckily another kid from youth council also said happy birthday and asked for a translation to what he wrote. So I didn't feel as stupid. To sum it all up, it was a day that I would like to live over again hoping that it would've been better, but I can't. I'm going to look forward to the future and pray that my 18th birthday is a lot better than this one, but I did get some bath and body works stuff. I love that place. When Sam and I went to the mall, we went to bath and body works and we had to leave so we wouldn't blow all of our money there! It was pretty tempting. So back to summing it all up, it was a good day. Thanks to everyone for making it that way. Even the people who didn't make it that way, but THANKS A BUNCH!

What to do?

Lately I've been wondering about why we as humans need to make choices. I've been wondering this because I have NO IDEA what I want to do my senior year. I have all of these choices on what I could do and I can't figure out what I want to do. My parents have tried and tried to help me and I thank them very very much for that, but I can't come to a conclusion. Jackie is very lucky that she doesn't have to make the choices for her senior year again, but she gets to go to COLLEGE. Yay for her. She'll love it! Even though my life is full of choices, I need to enjoy life and live life to the fullest which I can honestly say I have. Another thing that I can say is that Jackie is a very befuzzled girl. I'm just kidding. LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
